(Matt’s wife) has also been to past games but with the surname Moss. In Jersey, Gotland and Gibraltar she also has amassed a fair haul of medals. 10 medals were won from the 3 Games. Along with 3 Game’s records with her sister Shelley. Other than the games she, like her husband, is part of the GB shooting team. Her events are Air Pistol, Standard Pistol & Sport Pistol.
(sister of Immy) also, a GB shooting team member has been to a number of past games under her maiden name, Moss. Like her sister, she has also won 10 games medals. Along with 3 Game’s records with sister Immy. Air Pistol, Standard Pistol & Sport Pistol are her events for these games
(younger brother of Immy & Shelly) will be attending his 2nd Game. In Gibraltar as well as competing he assisted the ISSF in proving the new finals scoring process.
Again he is competing in the Air Rifle events alongside his brother Guy.
(brother of Immy, Shelly & Toby) Another veteran of many past Games.
Although never gained a games medal has many from national and county competitions. Competing in just the Air Rifle events.
Another past games competitor from the early days of the games is making a comeback for Guernsey. His events this time are Police Pistol and Service Pistol.
(daughter of Jai) is our newest competitor. Previously she has competed in Target Sprint events, similar to biathlon but without the snow. She has recently taken up a precision air rifle and will be competing in the Air Rifle competitions.
Yet another medallist in past games. He will be partnering with Matt in many of the pairs pistol events in addition to his individual competitions in Air Pistol, Standard Pistol, Centrefire and Free Precision Pistol.
The shooting team is managed by just two people. Both have over half a century of experience in target shooting.
Team manager and a past competitor. The previous games in Guernsey were his first Island Games where he was a pistol shooter. He has been involved with all types of target shooting since 1967 gaining his first competition medal in 1968. Since then has been part of the GB shooting team. He is licensed as an instructor and has qualified as a National Judge. Over the past 20 years, he has run many training courses to qualify Scout leaders so they can safely and legally run target shooting activities.
Another long-standing competitor, with a military background. He also has been involved with all types of target shooting over a very long period. Last century he qualified as a National Coach and holds a Range Conducting Officer certificate.
