At the 2015 NatWest Island Games in Jersey our shooting teams performed at the highest level gaining a total of 20 medals across all shooting disciplines. The Ladies Clay Shooting team won 6 of those medals across team and individual disciplines with 3 of those being Gold including both the English Sporting and Sport Trap Team competitions.
Their performance in the English Sporting Team competition was not only good enough to win the Gold Medal but their team total of 155 was also a new games record. The record was ratified by the International Island Games association back in the summer and the 3 members of the team have now been presented with International Island Games Association Record Certificates to go with their medals from the event.
The Certificates were presented to them by the IW High Sheriff, Robin Courage at a ceremony at the IW Gun Club. Pictured are the winning team of Jennie Cartwright, Kath Bright and Sharon Morris together with Team Manager Simon Hastain and the IW High Sheriff.
